Where we process personal information, we do so as a responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Some of our service providers — including website hosting, email and analytics — may process information on systems located outside South Africa. Where we transfer personal information outside South Africa we take steps consistent with POPIA (and GDPR where it applies), such as using reputable providers, contractual safeguards and assessing whether the destination offers adequate protection.

Retention and security

Enquiry records, project files and statutory records are retained according to those needs and then securely deleted or archived.

Your rights

Subject to POPIA (and GDPR where it applies), you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Where GDPR applies you may also have a right to data portability and to complain to a European or UK supervisory authority.

Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have received information from a child, please contact us so that we can delete it.
